Biography
Brooksie focuses her practice on complex civil litigation in state and federal courts. She has experience taking cases from pre-litigation through trial and arbitration.
Selected Matters
Member of trial team that won a $20 million judgment against international shipping companies following a collision and oil spill in the Houston Ship Channel. Result recognized as one of the Top 10 Bench Awards in the United States (2021) by Top Verdict.
Lead counsel for gas utility in two-week jury trial of personal injury matter resulting in favorable defense verdict.
Represented Fortune 100 company in arbitration involving the interpretation of a transportation agreement.
Represented three companies with facilities affected by nearby fire and obtained successful resolutions for each client.
Counsel in numerous cases involving personal injury and property damage claims for clients in the energy, utilities, and chemicals industries, including mass actions and multi-district litigation in Texas courts.
