Biography

Brooksie focuses her practice on complex civil litigation in state and federal courts. She has experience taking cases from pre-litigation through trial and arbitration. 

Selected Matters

  • Member of trial team that won a $20 million judgment against international shipping companies following a collision and oil spill in the Houston Ship Channel. Result recognized as one of the Top 10 Bench Awards in the United States (2021) by Top Verdict.

  • Lead counsel for gas utility in two-week jury trial of personal injury matter resulting in favorable defense verdict.

  • Represented Fortune 100 company in arbitration involving the interpretation of a transportation agreement.

  • Represented three companies with facilities affected by nearby fire and obtained successful resolutions for each client.

  • Counsel in numerous cases involving personal injury and property damage claims for clients in the energy, utilities, and chemicals industries, including mass actions and multi-district litigation in Texas courts.
